LEBANON HOPES TO RECOGNIZED BY EUROPEAN COUNCIL ON TOURISM AND TRADE

On 12 July 2013 the taking office protocol meeting between Prof. Dr. Anton Caragea, President of European Council on Tourism and Trade and Ambassador of Lebanon had taken place.

Prof.Dr.Anton Caragea express his heartfealted congratulation on the occasion of beginning of mandate of a new Lebanese Ambassador appreciating that Lebanon is a household name in trade and tourism in the Middle East and stated that the impressive archeological potential of Lebanon as the heir of Phoenician Empire is a testimony for the future of tourism in this country.

European Council on Tourism and Trade as the most important tourism promoter between Europe and Middle East is fully aware of paramount role in this direction and will try to support Lebanese efforts for tourism awareness , concluded Prof. Dr. Anton Caragea, President of European Council on Tourism and Trade.

H.E. Ambassador Rena Mokadem expressed here full accordance and the appreciation for the encouragement`s offered by President Prof. Dr. Anton Caragea and had stated that Lebanon is staking the future development on tourism and in this regard the best connection will be European Council on Tourism and Trade .

The Lebanese ambassador presented afterwards the candidature file of Lebanon capital-Beirut to compete for WORLD CAPITAL OF CULTURE AND TOURISM AWARD and of Lebanon for WORLD BEST TOURISM DESTINATION FOR 2014.

If we succeed to obtain this prize in 2013 or 2014 it will be a symbol of Lebanon status in the world concluded Ambassador Rena Mokadem.

Prof.Dr.Anton Caragea, President of European Council on Tourism and Trade accepted the candidature file and promised a full and complete review by European Council on Tourism and Trade.

President Anton Caragea express question marks regarding the troubles in Middle east area and other hurdle in this road for tourism promotion and acceptance and maybe Lebanon is not yet fully prepared, but he accepted the idea of candidature in order to encourage Lebanon future in tourism.

The discussion led the foundations of continuing the dialogue and fostering the relations between European Council on Tourism and Trade and Lebanon.

VENEZUELA WANT`S INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION AS WORLD BEST TOURIST DESTINATION

On 9 July 2013 the taking office protocol meeting between Prof. Dr. Anton Caragea, President of European Council on Tourism and Trade and Ambassador of Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela had taken place.
Prof.Dr.Anton Caragea express his heartfealted congratulation on the occasion of beginning of mandate of a new Venezuelan Ambassador appreciating that between Europe and Venezuela there is a large area of common interests , designed to forge a good understanding between the two entities. The Europe- Venezuela relationship in the field of tourism, trade and investments must be an example for a better relation between Europe and Latin America.

If in the last decade the bilateral dialogue with this area was faltering, now it is an auspicious moment for reconstructing and rebuilding this framework of dialogue and friendship.

European Council on Tourism and Trade as the main tourism and investment body is aware of his crucial role in this direction, concluded Prof. Dr. Anton Caragea, President of European Council on Tourism and Trade.

H.E. Ambassador Ricardo V.Carazo had expressed his appreciation for the encouragement`s offered by President Prof.Dr.Anton Caragea and had stated that the vision of a economic, politic and cultural special relationship between European Council on Tourism and Trade and Venezuela is a shared vision.

The Venezuelan ambassador presented afterwards the candidature file of Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela for WORLD BEST TOURIST DESTINATION AWARD FOR 2014 declaring that the acceptance of the Venezuela candidature for the highest tourism award it is a perfect achievement for his country.

Also he presented Caracas advantages as a bustling, spruced up city capable to receive the WORLD CAPITAL OF CULTURE AND TOURISM AWARD.

If we succeed to obtain any of this prizes in 2013 and 2014 for our country it will be a landmark in tourism promotion concluded Ambassador Victor Ricardo.

Prof.Dr.Anton Caragea, President of European Council on Tourism and Trade accepted the candidature files and promised a full and complete review by European Council on Tourism and Trade appropriate bodies and Venezuela should be regarded as a strong tourism destination and a powerful candidate for next year competition concluded ECTT President.

The dialogue had continued on concrete aspects and analyses of economic, political and cultural bilateral relations and on ways of fostering this dialogue on to the future for the benefit of Latin America.

SUDAN EYE`S WORLD CAPITAL OF CULTURE AWARD

On 10 July 2013 the taking office protocol meeting between Prof. Dr. Anton Caragea, President of European Council on Tourism and Trade and Ambassador of Sudan had taken place.

Prof.Dr.Anton Caragea express his heartfealt congratulation on the occasion of beginning of mandate of a new Sudanese Ambassador appreciating that trade and tourism are the only tool that will allow Sudan to overcome present day isolation and economic difficulties and stated that the impressive archeological potential of Sudan is a testimony for the future of tourism in this country.

European Council on Tourism and Trade as the most important tourism promoter is playing a his crucial role in this direction and will try to support Sudanese efforts for tourism development, concluded Prof. Dr. Anton Caragea, President of European Council on Tourism and Trade.

Ambassador Gasmalla Eltayeb expressed his total appreciation for the encouragement`s offered by President Prof. Dr. Anton Caragea and had stated that Sudanese efforts in tourism development have no greater friend in Europe than European Council on Tourism and Trade and his President-Professor Anton Caragea.

The Sudanese ambassador presented afterwards the candidature file of Sudanese capital-Khartoum to compete for WORLD CAPITAL OF CULTURE AND TOURISM AWARD.

If we succeed to obtain this prize in 2013 or 2014 it will be a symbol of African and Sudan renaissance concluded Ambassador Gasmalla Eltayeb.

President Anton Caragea cautioned that Sudan had many obstacles in his road for tourism promotion and acceptance and maybe is not yet fully prepared but event the acceptance of his candidature file is a sign normality that ECTT is glad to offer.

BRAZIL WANT`S TO BE THE WORLD BEST TOURIST DESTINATION IN 2014

Friendly meeting between President of European Council on Tourism and Trade and Ambassador of Federal Republic of Brazil

On 31 May, 2013 a friendly and cooperation meeting between President of European Council on Tourism and Trade and Ambassador of Federal Republic of Brazil had taken place.

Prof. Dr. Anton Caragea express his amicable fillings and friendly interest towards the recent evolutions in Brazil tourism sector. Tourism is consolidating Brazil’s economic development, is supporting the poverty alleviation programs and creates a platform for a higher standard in the world for Brazil.

All the changes in Brazilian tourism are witnessed with sympathy and interest in Europe, emphasized Prof.Dr.Anton Caragea.

H.E. Brazil Ambassador Raymundo Magno made a presentation of the latest achievements in tourism sector and bilateral relations: opening new hotels, adopting new promotion strategy, adopting a regions development strategy and increasing state support for tourism activities all this are building new bridges of understanding between European Council on Tourism and Trade and Brazil.

On this note, Brazil Ambassador present his country candidature for WORLD BEST TOURIST DESTINATION FOR 2014 emphasizing that Brazil wants to be the first country to be presented on the competition as a sign of recent development in tourism.

Receiving WORLD BEST TOURIST DESTINATION AWARD for 2014 will be a perfect completion of a period of greater international standing for Brazil on world arena. After candidature for World Expo 2020, for football championship and sports game today the candidature for WORLD BEST TOURIST DESTINATION IN 2014 is part of Brazil strategy of capturing the world imagination, concluded Ambassador Raymundo Magno.

The parties had appreciated that between European Council on Tourism and Trade and Brazil are large areas of common interests, designed to forge a good understanding between the two organisms. The European Council on Tourism and Trade- Brazil relationship must be an example for a better relation between Europe and Latin America.

On 1 June, 2013 at the headquarters of European Council on Tourism and Trade the latest issue of European Journal of Tourism has being unveiled.

The 8th edition of the European Journal of Tourism is dedicated to LAOS-WORLD BEST TOURIST DESTINATION for 2013.

Laos has being unanimously elected as WORLD BEST TOURIST DESTINATION in 2013 for his fabulous historic and civilization legacy and for his outstanding track record for safety of tourism and for ethical and green tourism.
